Minutes of the Ordinary Meeting at Hallhill Healthy Living Centre, Dunbar Friday 23rd January 2009

1. Welcome and Apologies

Chairman welcomed all and apologies were noted.

 

2 Corrections / Acceptance of minutes

Minutes approved as read.

3. Matters Arising

No matter arising

 

4. HMC Update

No meeting held in January – Boats on Cromwell Pier an issue. CMcW to seek legal advice from A. Mackie.

 

5. Finance Update

P and L to be sent out BD raised an issue on reclamation of VAT. The Auditor had made her aware that we should not be reclaiming VAT on anything with no income stream attached.

 

6. Projects Update

                            

North Wall – ongoing

Ladders – ongoing

McArthur’s Store – anticipating completion in Mid March/ Mid April 

Battery –Rankin Fraser presented their proposals for the development of the Battery area

It was agreed that they should proceed with putting together some firmer proposals

Amenities Building – ongoing

Interpretative Panels – Seabird Centre panel ongoing.

Development of Harbour –ongoing

Vaults – awaiting information on the current status of this project

           

7. AOB

The issue of Director replacement was raised – JSB to check Director replacement dates.
