Extract of the minutes of a meeting of the DHT March 13, 2008

 

Waste – A skip will be provided for the waste created at the temporary fishermen’s stores.

North Wall – a survey report showed the condition of the wall to be OK.

Ladders – Work is expected to start soon installing the new ladders in the old harbour.

McArthur’s store – Project manager George McNeil gave an update on the progress of the project saying it was on schedule. All 11 stores in the refurbished building have now been allocated.

Harbour development – Early talks will be held next month with East Lothian Council and funds will be sought for an initial seabed survey of the harbour to be carried out to allow dialogue with the RNLI to begin.

Pressure Washer – Washer and generator have been bought with a £500 donation from Lafarge and will be kept in the HM office.
