Extract Minutes of meeting at Hallhill Healthy Living Centre, Dunbar-
Hard standing – It was agreed that a charge of £20 a day for use of the new hard standing would be levied in line with similar facilities at other harbours. The hard standing will have to be booked via the harbourmaster. The hire charge will be waived until power and water are available.

McArthur’s Store – Work has started – a progress meeting will be held mid month – fishermen will be charged for using the temporary containers at a rate of £10 per month from January 1, 2008

Bridge – An urgent meeting is to be sought with the chief executive of East Lothian Council aimed at speeding up completion of this project now more than a year overdue.

Harbour Development – Sources of funding are to be sought to finance further studies to evaluate the feasibility of constructing a breakwater to eliminate harbour surge and allow for the return of the RNLI all weather lifeboat permanently to the harbour.

Vaults – Investigations are continuing to assess the practicality of opening the vaults as a visitor attraction.

Debt – Decided to continue to pres for settlement of a fuel account after a cheque from a visiting fisherman bounced.

Directors – Advertisement approved seeking two new volunteer directors to join DHT.
