Extract Minutes of meeting at Hallhill Healthy Living Centre, Dunbar- Directors gave the go ahead to a major renovation of McArthur’s Store. Temporary containers are to be installed to hold fishing equipment and McArthur’s store cleared prior to contractors moving onto site next month.
- Ladders – installation of new ladders due to start at the end of November.
- Repairs to the new hard standing have been authorised and are expected to start shortly.
- Application for funds to be begun to build harbour side toilets and showers.
- East Lothian Council has accepted it is for them to provide a power supply to the restored harbour bridge and they are working towards achieving this as soon as possible.
- Chairman and others had a meeting with the RNLI to hold initial talks about potentially extending the harbour with a breakwater to create a safe berth for the All Weather Lifeboat. Consultants to report.
- Moves begun to recruit two new directors to the Harbour Trust.
