Extract Minutes of meetingat Hallhill Healthy Living Centre, Dunbar

1. Matters arising

Traffic Management Plan – DHT attended the meeting and heard of many proposals to deal with traffic in Dunbar – awaiting report
Web Site - Info on fuel store and vaults on the web site.

2. HMC Update

Moorings - HM had checked chains and moorings and found main chains are in good condition but all lateral chains have corroded and require approx two metres of replacement chain and new wall fixing
eyes for each of ten chains. Contractor has this work in hand.
Sailing Club will nominate members to assist HM to clean up abandoned moorings and establish availability.

The issues of Jetskis creating a problem in harbour area was discussed and which if any byelaws could be used if problems occur. HM will log any incidents and further action will be taken should it be necessary.
Waste management plan inspected and with a minor alteration approved.

3.Projects Update

North Wall – survey updated quote received from Beckitt and Rankin and order to be placed

Ladders – Planning consent received and updated quotes being sought and a meeting to be set up with fishermen on programme / priorities

Hard Standing – Planning consent received and updated quotes being sought and a meeting to be set up with fishermen on programme / priorities

McArthur’s Store – AHF loan approved and HS loan approved. Storage – site still being sought.

Slipway – Planning consent granted – Board agreed to the potential funding requirement and grants will be sought to cover some or all of the costs. Project expected to be completed this year

Diving Platform – under review

Battery – Work unable to start until the new bridge is in place.

Toilets and Showers –ELCDT agreed to the transfer of land to DHT. DHT to now progress with funding applications.

Interpretive Panels (Information Boards) – ongoing

Bridge – The end of April is still the date the planned the installation of the new bridge

VIG – no update
Seabird Centre Camera – DHT met Seabird Centre representative to agree locations
