1. Business Plan

Battery – DHT has full report from AOC and many issues have been addressed in this report. Work unable to start until the new bridge is in place.
 
Toilets and Showers – awaiting decision by ELCDT on location
Interpretive Panels (Information Boards) – ongoing and no planning permission is required.

Bridge – New bridge under construction DHT to contact Had Fab for an update.

VIG – have recently held two open days and are nearing the end of Phase 2 – DHT to contact VIG for an update.

2. HMC Update

Sewage discharges into the harbour are continuing and the DHT will write to Scottish Water. This issue was raised with Norman Hampshire and John Home Robertson who raised the matter with Scottish Water – reply awaited. DHT will copy John Home Robertson with the letter to Scottish Water.
Mooring Applications – forms are not being returned in time and cause problem with allocation of available moorings. The Harbour Master has a waiting list for moorings. It was suggested that the invoices and application go out at the same time next year.
Fishermen’s Monument – ongoing.
Fuel Tank –The trial has proceeded successfully and all are happy with procedures. DHT will create a guide for fuel users.

3. Projects Update

North Wall – Remains under observation
Ladders – Planning permission received and funding still awaited
Hard Standing – Planning permission and funding still awaited
McArthur’s Store – The next stage is to give notice to all tenants. A list of tenants will be compiled and a notice posted on the Store itself.
A site is still being sought for the containers.
Slipway – Still awaiting contact from Royal Engineers. Planning permission is still being sought
Diving Platform – ongoing
