Matters arising
Web Site - Updated Layout / Planning in hand and templates being produced for review by DHT
Harbour users Meeting - now being planned for Friday 26 th May at 1830hrs in the premises of Dunbar Sailing Club
DHMC Update
- DHT confirmed that the harbour master's office was within the THI boundary.
- The leaking hose coming from the Vaults has been re-routed and no longer causes a problem.
- The owner of a boat permanently on hard standing has been sent a letter asking him to remove the boat by a fixed date.
- DHMC will contact SEPA re ongoing sewage discharges into the harbour.
Projects Update
- Projects North Wall - remains under observation
- Fuel Store - DHT progressing SEERAD for funding confirmation letter.
- MacArthur's Store - Solicitors are involved in discussion regarding the ownership of MacArthur's Store as SEERAD will only supply funding if the building is owned by the DHT and not the Trust set up for the renovation of MacArthurs store. Project organisers are being interviewed and will be involved in funding as well as overseeing the work going forward.
- Cromwell Harbour Wall - remains under observation
- Ladders - DHT now to apply for planning permission
- Maintenance Bay - Proposal drawing in circulation for comments
- Tidal Gauge - Awaiting determination of suitability of graduated boards for fixing to new steel gauge/pole
- Slipway - Army Clerk of Works to survey site June/July
Business Plan
- Battery meeting was held with Scottish Heritage, ELC Planning Department on 21 st April and DHT options for the site were felt to be feasible but would require an Archaeological Historical Survey.
- The Castle -options remain under review
- Toilets / Showers Facilities - Draft proposals being prepared. Final proposals to be presented to ELCDT for approval and agreement to transfer ownership of the site to DHT.
- Information Boards - ongoing
- Parking - a study is to be held on parking in Dunbar which will be increased to include the harbour area

The issue of responsibility for problems with ground tackle, risers and bridles and other issues such as insurance liability and mooring fees to be reviewed and these issues will be addressed by the DHMC.
