Matter arising from previous minutes

• DHT will prepare a draft job description and place advertisement for Assistant Harbour Master.
• A sign has now been ordered to forbid overnight parking.
• The repairs required for the DHT trailer are still outstanding.
• The boat in the Cromwell Harbour , which sank to be removed.

Harbour Management Committee

• Vivier Trucks - Vivier agent will be sent a letter advising him that bunkering should cease and local Councillor will speak to ELC Environmental Health Dept regarding this issue.
• Insurance inspection report highlighted the need for more signs e.g. unguarded quay, lifting bridge, no swimming etc
• Lifting Bridge - communication receive from ELC stating ELC now have a repair estimate. This is being put before the Capital Expenditure Committee of ELC and a decision is due in the next 2/3 weeks.

Projects review

• Fuel Store- DHT to clarify SERAD to check on rules regarding grant aid and was advised that public bodies can and would be offered up to 50% outright grant aid with no provision for supplying money from their own resources
• Macarthur's Store- Balance funding has now been obtained for feasibility study to proceed. The architect will supply a list of actions DHT have to do to progress this matter.
• Ladders - DHT reviewing need to replace ladders in the Cromwell Harbour and add further ladders to the Victoria Harbour as well as supplying access to the Broadhaven. DHT has had a provisional meeting with ELC planning department to discuss what would be required for a successful application.
• Depth Gauge -DHT investigating replacement options .
