1. Matter arising from previous minutes
New Director Recruitment - application packs have been sent out to those who have applied and DHT undertook to write to previous applicants to ascertain if they are still interested in being considered.
Inventory of Harbour area – still to be carried out
Web site Bullet points from this meeting to be put on the web site and an update on the vaults when prepared. Also details for a McArthur’s Store page will be included
RNLI davit -It was agreed that the Board would not oppose the installation subject to the conditions already set out and provided that space was reserved for the possible installation of a pontoon/s. Full consultation with harbour users would also have to take place prior to any go ahead
Disclaimer notices - now in place
McArthur’s store missive - DHT now have signed copy of the Missive effective from the date of the Revision Order
Broadhaven Slipway - Planning permission will now be sought
Byelaws – Have been approved by the Scottish Executive and now await the Revision Order
Project Signs – some replaced and others on order
Fuel Spillages – A letter has been sent to all boat owners in the Harbour advising them that the Harbour Master will inform SEPA and the police of any spillages witnessed in the Harbour area
Fishermen’s Monument –The top of the Monument to be upgraded as it appears to have been missed in the original work
McArthur’s Store – Memorandum and Articles of Association for the Building Preservation Trust have gone to Inland Revenue to apply for Charitable Status and a decision is awaited.
Revision Order – A letter has been received from the Parliamentary agents asking for an update on outstanding. DHT to advise that all outstanding issues have been dealt with.
Immediately following the implementation of the Revision Order DHT will put in place Insurance for the Harbour area and building as well as
Director’s Liability insurance. The Byelaws will come into effect at that time and ELC will arrange transfer of the Harbour Master to the employment of DHT.
4. Projects Update
CCTV Civil works to start this week. Poles and bas plates and anti climbing frames have been delivered and cabinet prices now obtained
North Wall No change
Cromwell Harbour Wall Emergency repairs pending material specification clarification with SERAD
Fuel Store Applications for funding now sent in to Viridor and Leader+ Maintenance Bay On hold
Moorings Two removed and short risers still being investigated
Ladders Drawings for additional ladders in hand
Vaults No change but grass seed has now been sown and the signs changed. ITEC camera survey has been completed
RNLI Store To be purchased by DHT

Bad Debts have been dealt with and following letters from the Chairman to the outstanding debtors one has paid up in full, one appears to relocated and left no forwarding address and there has been no response from the third. Follow up action in hand

Registrar’s Office next to the Lothian Hotel.
