Tide & Time: Dunbar’s Festival of the Sea

Sea shanties, family fun, and fishing tales of old …it’s all here at Dunbar’s first ever Festival of the Sea - ‘TIDE AND TIME’! Immerse yourself in the bygone days of life around the Harbour, the thriving fishing industry, and the colourful community that made Dunbar what it is today. TIDE AND TIME is a celebration of our past, our present, and importantly - our future, with a focus on sustainability and our coastal environment.

Dress up as a fisher wife for our sponsored Herring Trail walk, learn about our local seafood and how to cook it at our Harbour Event Stalls … or show your creative side with our fantastic Art and Photography competitions! There’s something for everyone at TIDE AND TIME!

…and if you have a little extra TIME yourself - we are fishing for volunteers! Get in touch to help us make this first-ever Festival of the Sea event a seafaring success!

So put TIDE AND TIME in your diary, and take part in our maritime medley of exciting activities and events!
